Turvio

Privacy notice

Draft of 15 October 2026.

What this notice covers

This notice explains how DMVH.eu NV ("we") handles personal data of website visitors, people who join the waitlist, Turvio Free users, and — for the records we keep ourselves — Turvio Pro customers. It is a draft until it is approved.

Who is responsible

For this website, the waitlist and Free account data, we are the controller. On Free, you decide which content you send and to whom; we process that content to provide the service and then delete it. On Pro, the customer is the controller of content, recipient details and employee use of the service, and we are the processor. We are the controller for our own billing, licence and security records about the customer organisation. Contact: hello@turvio.eu.

Website visitors

This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies. A technical cookie protects the forms against misuse. Our server may process your IP address in memory to rate-limit requests and to keep the service available. We do not sell visitor data. Hosting is in our own data centre in the EU.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store your e-mail address, the language of the page, and the date and time of the sign-up, so we can contact you about early access. We do not use that address for other marketing and we do not pass it to a marketing network. It is stored in the EU. You can ask us to delete it by writing to hello@turvio.eu.

Free accounts

We process your e-mail address, display name, language, the public part of your passkey or the fact that you use a magic link, and the version of the terms and acceptable use policy you accepted, with the time of acceptance. We also keep delivery metadata: times, status and counts. Secret text, files, file names and recipient addresses are encrypted and deleted, together with the encryption key, after the allowed number of opens, on revocation, or at expiry. Free does not use SMS, so we do not process a recipient phone number for Free. We do this to provide Free, to keep it secure and to prevent abuse. The legal bases are the contract with you and our legitimate interest in security.

Pro

On Pro we process personal data on the customer's instructions: employee accounts, recipient e-mail addresses and phone numbers, and the content of deliveries. The customer is the controller and we are the processor. A person whose data was included in a Pro delivery should contact that customer. We also process billing data, through Mollie, and licence data as controller for our own administration.

Subprocessors

We use the following subprocessors:

  • Hosting: our own data centre in the EU, for the application and the storage we run ourselves.
  • E-mail: our own mail relay. The recipient's mail provider then receives the message; that provider is not our subprocessor.
  • Spryng, for SMS with a one-time code on Pro. Free does not send SMS.
  • Mollie, for Pro payments.

Retention

Waitlist data is kept until you ask us to delete it or we close the list. A Free account is kept while the account exists. A sign-up that is never verified is removed. An inactive Free account may be removed after we have warned you. Delivery content is deleted when it has been opened the allowed number of times, is revoked, or expires. Security logs are kept for a limited time and do not contain message content.

Transfers

The service is hosted in the EU. An invitation e-mail is delivered through the recipient's mail provider, which may be outside the EU. That delivery is part of sending the message you asked us to send.

Your rights

Where they apply, you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Free users and waitlist subscribers can write to hello@turvio.eu. People whose data was sent through Pro should contact the customer, who is the controller. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children

Turvio is not directed at children.
